Pure Coconut Nectar is rich in minerals and amino acids.
Coconut nectar powder is relatively high in nutrients because it is claimed to contain inositol, B vitamins, and vitamin C, in addition to minerals such as magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron and some sodium content. It contains 400 times more potassium than white sugar. Being high in potassium, sodium, and magnesium, coconut nectar can regulate the body’s water content. Then coconut nectar contains a fibre called inulin, a prebiotic which may slow glucose absorption and explain why coconut sugar has a lower glycemic index than regular table sugar. Besides that, inulin can promote the growth of the intestinal. Coconut nectar has been measured with a GI of Bifidobacteria, which are known to help restore good gut bacteria and boost immunity. Bifidobacteria in coconut nectar produce vitamin B6, and vitamin K, thiamine, riboflavin. It is claimed that it is good for the gut.
Direction of Use
Add 1-5 tablespoons or 2-6% of total weight as needed. Mix, top or blend in water, smoothies, beverages, ice-cream, kuih-muih, cake, jam, jelly, pudding, snacks, biscuits, desserts, dressing & recipes. (Depends on personal preferences)
