Description
Peppermint leaf (Mentha x piperita, or, Mentha balsamea Wild ) is a hybrid plant of watermint and spearmint. It is a native plant to Europe, Asia and North America. Its active ingredient includes menthol.
Besides known as a culinary herb, Peppermint leaf is also traditionally used for treating digestive issues, mood and sleep disorder. With its active ingredient menthol and methyl salicylate, peppermint leaf is beneficial for treating common cold / flu, indigestion and skin irritations.
Direction of Use
Use in baking (desserts, cakes, etc.) or beverages where flavor, color, and nutrients are required. Use 1 tablespoon for each 4 oz /113 g cup of ingredients and add more as preferred.
Dosage: 2% – 8%

Storage

- Has a shelf life of 24 months, in the original sealed packaging below 25°C, relative humidity below 65% and odour-free conditions.
- Packages should not be in direct contact with walls or floors.
Precaution
- Due to the nature of plant / herbal extract, liquid may thicken due to heat or moisture.
- Shake well before use. Color, taste and texture may vary from batch to batch as the ingredients used are natural.
