Description
Black ginger (Kaempferia parviflora) is a native plant to Thailand. Black ginger is a flowering plant, and its rhizome has been consumed for centuries for medicinal use. For example, for digestive and men health.
Black ginger is a good source of curcumin, anthocyanins, amino acids, and other antioxidant-rich nutrients. It is beneficial for relieving fatigue, reduce eye strain, boost energy, infection control etc. The primary compound in black ginger that has good therapeutic effects on men health is 5,7-Dimethoxyflavone.
Direction of Use
Use in baking (desserts, cakes, etc.) or beverages where flavor, color, and nutrients are required. Use 1 tablespoon for each 4 oz /113 g cup of ingredients and add more as preferred.
