What is the difference between contract extraction and OEM finished product?
Contract extraction (toll) produces a bulk extract to your specification — you take possession of the bulk material and may use it in your own downstream process. OEM produces a finished, branded, packaged product ready for sale.
Will Bionutricia process raw materials we supply, or only your own sourcing?
Both. Bionutricia accepts client-supplied raw materials under toll terms, or sources raw materials on the client’s behalf through our Malaysian farm network. Sourcing under Bionutricia includes halal-controlled procurement.
Is there an MOQ for toll services?
Indicative MOQ: 25 kg for spray-drying, 50 kg for liposomal encapsulation, 5,000 units for capsules. Pilot batches below MOQ are negotiable for new clients.
How is confidentiality protected?
Mutual NDA is standard before any project brief is shared. Process IP, formulation, raw-material sources and analytical data are protected. Bionutricia does not white-label your formulation to other clients.
Can Bionutricia provide stability data for toll-produced batches?
Yes. Accelerated and real-time stability protocols are available as an add-on service. Standard duration: 3-month accelerated, 24-month real-time.
What QC and analytical capability is available?
In-house QC includes assay (HPLC, UV-Vis), microbial limits, heavy metals (ICP-MS via third party), moisture, particle size, organoleptic. NanoVerify DLS reports for liposomal products.
How does Bionutricia handle halal compliance on toll runs?
All toll runs are scheduled on halal-certified equipment with documented cleaning protocols. JAKIM HALAL certificate copies are issued per consignment for export markets.
