Direction of Use
Use for baking or beverage wherever a recipe calls for a flavour, colour & nutrient. Begin with 1 tablespoon for each 4oz / 113g cup of ingredients and add more depending on desired strength. Alternatively, can add to ice-cream, kuih-muih, jelly, cake, biscuit, jam, pudding, chocolate, bao/bun, bread, dessert, popcorn, grazing & filling.
Storage: Store in a refrigerator after opening.
Precaution: Shake well before use. Mix well with herbs & spices.
Dosage: 2% - 8%

The color is blue at pH 8 to pH 4 (if in neutral substances like water, clear spirits or milk). It will change to royal purple at pH 3 and to bright pink at pH 2 (so the more acidic it becomes after adding other ingredients)

It originated from tropical Asia, but now was widely distributed in Central and South America, India and China. The blue color flower is popular in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines as an edible food dye and also brewed into tea.
