Garlic (Allium satium) is belonging to the Amaryllidaceae family. It is the among oldest known horticultural crops and the second most important bulb crop after onion. Historical records suggest that garlic has been cultivated at least 5000 years and use found from ancient China, India and Egypt. Garlic plant can grow about 2 feet tall, long leaves typically arise from a short hard stem above the bulb or emerge from a softer pseudostem made up of overlapping leaf sheaths.
Garlic bulb is covered with multiple edible small bulbs or bulblets called as cloves. There are about 10 to 20 cloves in a single bulb. Garlic has been long recognized to the world as a valuable spice. Its powerful smell and pungent taste make it one of the favourite spices of many chefs. People use it as seasoning and condiment when cooking. It can used for flavouring salad dressing, gravies, spaghetti, chutney, curried dishes and more. Garlic powder may apply to bakery goods, create classical garlic toast or garlic bread. Moreover, garlic not only used as culinary item but also an important spice crop used to prevent or cure various disease.

*Direction of Use*
Add 1/8 teaspoon to 6 tablespoon or 0.2% to 6% of total weight or as needed. Mix, top or blend in water, smoothies, beverages, ice-cream, kuih-muih, cake, jam, jelly, pudding, snacks, biscuits, desserts, dressing & recipes. For Baking: Means need to add 0.2g-60g of the extract to make a 1kg cake. (Depends on personal preferences)
