Coconut is called as “tree of life” in many cultures. It is an edible fruit of the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera) from the family Arecaceae. It is believed that coconut is originated somewhere in Indo-Malaya, however it has spread generously across the tropics, thriving on sandy soils. The coconut tree has a straight, unbranched stem with large compound evergreen leaves. A mature coconut is in ovoid or ellipsoid shape, about 12-18 inches in height. It requires a year to fully ripen and a single coconut tree can yield about 100 coconuts annually. *Direction of Use*
Add 1/8 teaspoon to 6 tablespoon or 0.2% to 6% of total weight or as needed. Mix, top or blend in water, smoothies, beverages, ice-cream, kuih-muih, cake, jam, jelly, pudding, snacks, biscuits, desserts, dressing & recipes.
